Do you need a current fine art appraisal for a painting, drawing, limited edition print, sculpture or an entire fine art collection?
In order to realize the full and accurate value of your collections works of art, always rely on a trained and tested professional appraiser who is an expert in researching and valuing fine art.
Please note that appraisal services and the documents that they create can differ greatly in their accuracy, quality of research, formal content, extent of documentation and price.

What is the exact definition of an appraisal?
THE NORTH AMERICAN CONFERENCE OF APPRAISAL ORGANIZATIONS defines an appraisal as:
"A written statement, independently and impartially prepared by a qualified appraiser, setting forth an opinion of defined value of an adequately described property, as of a specific date, supported by the presentation and analysis of relevant market information."
All of our fine art appraisal report documents are written in accordance to The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP), guidelines established by The Appraisal Foundation Washington, D.C. and The Report Writing Standard of The International Society of Appraisers and The International Society of Appraisers Code of Ethics.
PLEASE NOTE: Appraisal fees are not based on commissions or percentages of items valued, the intended use of the appraisal or the financial outcome from its use.
Make sure to closely examine the professional credentials and academic training of any appraiser before retaining their services. Please beware of art appraisers who do not list the exact date, institution and place of their university fine art degrees or who claim Ph.D.degrees from high sounding but "dubious or obscure institutions", that are simply "diploma mills".
